The Wilderness Camping Area is 2500-acres of natural wilderness set aside for camping and outdoor activities. With the completion of Camp Hawkins as base camp, and with two group campsites developed in remote areas with water and tent pads, our wilderness campgrounds are hosting youth groups who come to help build trails, do volunteer work at the children's village, or just have a unique wilderness experience in the beautiful backcountry of Big Springs Ranch.
